Weddings & engagements

An ice cream cart at your wedding.

Our pink cart, our own gelato, and two of our team scooping it for your guests. Surrey, Kent and south London, delivered and set up so the only thing you have to do on the day is eat some.

A real wedding, our cart. No sound.

The standard wedding hire

What turns up.

One package, no hidden extras. Anything beyond it, such as bespoke flavours, branding, longer service or bigger numbers, is quoted on top so you can see what you are paying for.

  • Two hours of serviceTwo of our team scooping, so nobody in your line is waiting
  • Four flavours, yours to pickChurned in our own kitchen in Oxted
  • The cherry blossom featureThe backdrop everyone ends up photographed against
  • Candyfloss conesThe thing guests send to their group chat
  • Sauces, toppings & wafer discsA station they build themselves
  • Delivered, set up, run and clearedYou are getting married. You do nothing.

Timing it

When couples usually have us.

After the ceremony

While the photographs are being taken and everyone is standing about with a drink and nothing to do.

The afternoon lull

The gap between the wedding breakfast and the evening guests arriving, which every couple underestimates.

Evening, instead of a dessert course

Or alongside it. A cart people walk up to beats a plate that arrives when they are mid-conversation.

Late, as the second food

The job the bacon rolls usually do, except people photograph this one.

Not sure which? Tell us the running order on the enquiry and we’ll say where we think the cart lands best. We have done enough of these to have an opinion.

The bit that ends up on Instagram

The cherry blossom feature.

It comes as standard, and it is the reason the cart does two jobs at a wedding. Guests queue for gelato, then stay to be photographed in front of it. Your photographer will find it before you point it out.

It is part of the standard hire, not an extra, and it travels with the cart.

While you are here

The cart does more than one day.

Before you ask

The five we get every time.

How much is an ice cream cart for a wedding?
We quote per wedding rather than publish a single price, because guest numbers, travel and how long you want us there all move it. Tell us the date and the venue and you’ll have a full quote back within 24 hours. A fully refundable £100 holds the date, and the balance is settled a week before.
How far will you travel?
Travel is included free within thirty minutes’ drive of either parlour, Warlingham or Oxted, which takes in most of Surrey, west Kent and south London. Past that we still come. We have taken the cart as far as Birmingham; it simply goes in the quote. Distance is not the problem people expect it to be.
Is it real gelato?
Yes, and it is the same gelato we sell in the parlours: churned by Maria and her team in Oxted, not bought in. We were Gelato Parlour of the Year 2025, which is the bit that matters when you are serving it to 100 people.
Can you do vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. Vegan and gluten-friendly options are among the extras we tailor per event, so flag it on the enquiry and we’ll build the flavour list around it. Full allergen information is on our allergens page.
When should we book?
Saturdays in summer go first, often a year out. If your date is close, ask anyway. We would rather tell you yes or no than have you assume. Call 01883 338331 if it is soon.

Tell us about the day.

We have one cart, so the date is worth knowing before anything else.
